New York Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer and New York Democratic Representative Steve Israel made a call to outfit commercial jets with missile defence systems on Sunday (July 27). Their proposal comes after a Malaysian airliner crashed in eastern Ukraine on July 17th killing all 298 people aboard.
