Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner divorce amid dating rumours

Despite numerous reports of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner reuniting, the estranged couple took the final step to end their 10-year marriage over the Easter weekend. And within days of the divorce filing, there were widespread rumours that the Batman actor is already hitting the dating scene.

Celebrity gossip websites sensationally claimed that the 45-year-old actor has moved on from Garner with a new lover. However, following his divorce, the speculative claims on Affleck's personal life are reportedly untrue.

A source cleared the air on the dating rumours and told E! Online, "Ben is not dating anyone seriously." The amicable exes fresh off their long-pending split are said to be figuring things out currently, although they might consider moving on in their personal lives over time.

"He and Jen are working on their relationship and have not ruled out dating in the future," the alleged source told the website.

While the exes may not be thinking of a new romance right after divorce, they certainly have a lot on their plates when it comes to the aftermath of the split. According to TMZ, the former couple will now have to decide on the division of their assets and fortune, which could be a daunting task – considering they did not sign a prenuptial agreement.

Apart from dealing with the property division, Affleck and Garner will continue to co-parent their three children, Violet, 11, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 5. While the actor may be moving out of their Pacific Palisades family home, sources claim he is looking to stay close in order to help his ex with raising their children.

"Ben will move out and is looking for a property close by so they can continue to co-parent as they have been," a source told Us Weekly. "He will move out when he finds the right place."

Affleck and Garner had announced split in 2015, a day after their tenth marriage anniversary.
