NFL star Aaron Rodgers feels used by Bachelorette winner Jordan for 'financial benefit and fame'
Jordan Rodgers and JoJo Fletcher are planning a wedding next year after their engagement on ABC dating show.
After winning the ABC dating reality show The Bachelorette, Jordan Rodgers has been making headlines for numerous reasons. One of them being his alleged feud with estranged brother and NFL star Aaron Rodgers.
It was previously reported that Jordan and his eldest brother Luke shared a strained relationship with Aaron, which seemed to have been reflected during the filming of the season 12 of The Bachelorette.
New reports claim that there's more to the feud between the footballer siblings, as insiders reveal the real reason behind their strained relationship.
"Aaron's problem has been that he feels like his brothers have been riding his coattails and using him for their own financial benefit and fame," a source told Hollywood Life.
"It hasn't just been Jordan that has been guilty of dropping his brother's name, the other bro, Luke, has taken advantage of the famous quarterback brother too. Aaron is tired of being used," the source added shedding light on the sibling feud.
However, the conflict between the Rodgers brothers is mutual as per the gossip website report, which claims that, "Jordan and Luke have felt over the years that his success and fame have changed Aaron." It continues, "at times Aaron is absent from important family and friend events. The estranged brothers feel like Aaron has forgotten his roots. They, too, are disappointed in Aaron and it is a sad situation they hope time will heal."
The Monday finale of season 12 of The Bachelorette has been a significant event in the life of Jordan, who not only won the show, but also proposed to his lady love JoJo Fletcher. It has been reported that the former football player would move in with the 25-year-old real estate developer in Dallas before they plan their grand wedding next year.
JoJo and Jordan became the centre of several controversies and tabloid stories while the show was being aired on ABC. Addressing those reports, the Bachelorette winner told E! News that he was more concerned about his new fiancée.
"The hardest part for me, not only how unbelievably false and frustrating this is, but the woman that I want to spend the rest of my life with and love more than anything is being so affected by that," he said.
He even spoke about his estrangement from Aaron and how the topic affected the couple. "Family things are always tough, and they're always tough to address, let alone on a TV show. But I knew I made a commitment to go on there and be honest with JoJo... So you have to be honest, you have to trust she believes in the person you are."
