Nicholas Hoult still 'in love' with Jennifer Lawrence: X-Men actor broke up with Kristen Stewart to be with ex-girlfriend?

Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult reportedly broke up in October because of Jennifer Lawrence.

According to reports, Stewart and Hoult briefly dated while filming for Equals together, but reportedly split from her after realising how he felt about his ex.

A close friend of Stewart told Life & Style magazine, "Nick is still in love with Jennifer. You can hear it in the way he talks about her — she's the love of his life. He still talks to Jen, too, which also made things difficult for Kristen. She always felt like there was a chance Nick and Jen would reconcile."

Hoult and Lawrence dated for three years before breaking it off in July 2014.

According to a HollywoodLife report, Lawrence's "exploding ego" prompted Hoult to break up with her.

The report also states that Kristen and Nicholas started filming Equals in Tokyo over the summer, and they've been spotted cosying up to each other on cute dates ever since.

But now the 24-year-old actor is regretting his rash decision.

Meanwhile, a new report revealed that Lawrence was growing close with the X-Men actor again, following her split from Chris Martin.

The insider explained: "He still adores Jennifer and so do his family.

"He's been calling her and they've been speaking regularly on Skype."

Jennifer recently spent some time in the UK promoting her movie, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 and she reportedly used the free time to visit Nicholas' parents in Berkshire, south east England.

The source added: "Their relationship is getting closer and his family would love for them to get back together."
