Overview

Kyrgios and Nishikori are two rising stars on the ATP circuit. Kyrgios continued his impressive run of form ahead of this month's French Open beating Pablo Cuevas 7-6 (7-5), 4-6, 6-3 in what was a hard fought win. The World No 27 has a tendency to stir controversy wherever he goes and it was no different, as he hurled a stream of abuses at Stan Wawrinka who he defeated in the third round two days ago.

His heated exchanges both on and off the field happen to overshadow his talent on the court. He comes into this game on an equal footing knowing that he stands a chance of making it to the semi-final.

Kei Nishikori

Nishikori comes into this tie after finally beating Richard Gasquet, a man he has lost to six straight times in the past. The Japanese has improved by leaps and bounds since their last encounter, and his all-round game was too much for the Frenchman to handle. The World No 6 has beaten the biggest names in tennis.
