North West makes film debut in Kanye's Only One music video
In 2014 North West made her modelling debut in the fall issue of CR Fashion Book, sat front row at Paris Fashion and even spent some time in the music studio.
Now Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's 19-month-old daughter has bagged a starring role in her first music video.
This week the 37-year-old rapper unveiled the highly-anticipated visual to Only One, his collaborative track with Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney.
Directed by Oscar-winning Spike Jonze, the three-minute film features West and his daughter North spending quality time together in the countryside.
The father-daughter duo are seen walking together in the rain as West embraces his little girl and serenades her. At one point West is also seen running towards the camera by himself.
The emotional track features the lines: "Hello my only one, remember who you are. You got the world cause you got love in your hands. And you're still my chosen one."
Fans quickly flocked online to praise the stripped back video.
Before the big reveal on his website, West shared a teaser of the video during an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres show, where he also discussed how becoming a father changed him.
"There's things I've done in the past that were considered negative, but I was really jumping in front of the tank for other people and for culture in a way," he says of his antics. "So now I always have to have that in my mind that I have a family that I have to protect, too."
"I've definitely learned how to compromise more," he added.
North has become a natural in front of the camera since gracing the fall issue of CR Fashion Book, a style guide from former Vogue Paris editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld.
The black-and-white picture shows the youngster looking to the side decked out in diamond studs and a chic knitted Chanel cardigan with a small quilted bag by the French label resting on her lap.
