Notting Hill murder: Woman charged after bodies of man and child found at Colville Square home
A woman will today appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court charged with the murders of a man and girl at a Notting Hill home.
The 34-year-old woman is accused of killing the man, in his 40s, and the four-year-old girl and the attempted murder of another person.
Officers forced their way into the west London home on Friday (27 February, 2015) where they found the bodies of the man and girl.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene and a second child was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service where she remains in a stable condition.
Detectives believe they know the identities of the man and the four-year-old but await formal identification before naming them.
A post mortem examination was carried out on the man on Sunday, 1 March, but the cause of the deaths is still under investigation.
A special post mortem is due to be carried out in the morning of Wednesday, 4 March, at Great Ormond Street Hospital on the four-year-old.
Police would not comment on the types of injuries sustained by the man and girl.
