Overview
Having won it on three occasions in 2007, 2011 and 2012, Djokovic will be looking to win the tournament for the fourth time in his career by defeating Murray in the final. The World No 3 has won it on two occasions.
The Serbian tennis star sealed a berth in the final by defeating Jeremy Chardy in straight sets 6-4, 6-4 on Saturday (15 August). So far, Djokovic has dropped only one set in the tournament and he will be looking for another straight set victory.
Murray defeated defending champion Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Kei Nishikori in quarter-final and semi-final respectively. The 28-year-old has never dropped a set so far in the Montreal Masters.
Djokovic has a better head-to-head record against Murray. The World No 1 has won the last eight matches between the pair as Murray's last victory over Djokovic came in the 2013 Wimbledon final.
