Overview
Djokovic is one win away from defending the title as the Serbian is on the course to win his fourth Rome Masters title on Sunday. He made it to the final after registering a victory over David Ferrer.
The 27-year-old had a comfortable straight set victory over the Spaniard as he won the match 6-4, 6-4. It is for the first time in the ongoing competition that the world No 1 has not dropped a set. Djokovic will be hoping he can seal another straight set victory to win the final.
Meanwhile, Federer also had an easy win over Stanislas Wawrinka in the last four of the competition. The 33-year-old defeated his compatriot in straight sets 6-4, 6-2 to seal a berth in the final.
The Swiss tennis star has not dropped a single set in the Rome Masters and is one win away from winning the competition. Federer is aware that Djokovic is in good form and he needs to be at his best in order to have any chance of beating the World No 1.
