World No 1 Novak Djokovic is aiming for a record equalling sixth Australian Open title when he takes on Andy Murray in the final on Sunday (31 January). The Serbian has been in imperious form in the past two weeks, and came into the final with a power-packed win over 17-time Grand Slam winner Roger Federer.

Murray is seeking his first Australian Open title after having finished runner-up on four occasions in the past. The Briton came through a tough five setter over Milos Raonic and also has one day less rest than the defending champion.

The 2016 final is the repeat of the 2015 edition when the Serb beat the Briton in four sets, with the final set going to the World No 1, 6-0. This is the fourth time the duo are meeting in the summit clash at the Rod Laver Arena and the Serb has won it on all three occasions.
