Novak Djokovic vs Kyle Edmund, US Open 2016: Where to watch live, preview and betting odds
Novak Djokovic plays his fourth round match against Kyle Edmund on 5 September.
Novak Djokovic takes on Kyle Edmund in the men's singles fourth round clash of the 2016 US Open on Monday (5 September).
Where to watch live
The match starts at 2am BST (early Monday morning). Live coverage of the game will be available in the UK on British Eurosport 1 & 2. Live scores and regular updates will be available on US Open's official website.
Overview
World No 1 Djokovic has had an easy US Open campaign so far, playing only six games over two rounds with Jiri Vesely withdrawing before the match and Mikhail Youzhny not being able to compete in the third round. The Serb would have got much-needed rest but there is also the fear that he might get rusty, considering he will be challenged in the next fortnight.
Edmund comes into this clash after upsetting John Isner 6-4, 3-6, 6-2, 7-6 in what was a display of breathtaking tennis. The 21-year-old has been mentioned as a potential champion and it is easy to see why, with his brilliant mentality making his whole ground stroke game smarter, more precise and lethal.
Edmund, who has lost to Djokovic the only time they have met in the past, will know that he is facing an opponent who is at the top of his game and will need to play out of his skin if he has to cause an upset come 5 September.
