One Direction star Louis Tomlinson splits from girlfriend Eleanor Calder

Louis Tomlinson's long-term relationship with girlfriend Eleanor Calder has reportedly come to an end.

The 23-year-old One Direction heartthrob and Calder, who had been dating since 2011, could not cope up with his busy schedule.

"Louis and Eleanor split up two weeks ago," a spokesperson for the singer told People. "They have not announced this as they wanted some privacy during this time."

"Louis is really upset about it all," a source said. "They tried really hard to make it work but it was just impossible, he's away for nine months a year and they just grew apart."

However, shortly after the news of the split went viral, photos emerged of Tomlinson, allegedly kissing a girl in a bikini in Thailand.

"They were kissing on and off for about 15 minutes. Louis was just wearing his boxers, having stripped off to swim," a source told the Sun.

"They were snogging passionately. I thought it was Eleanor until she turned round. He is going to be in a bit of trouble," the insider added.

This comes after photos of One Direction band member Zayn Malik holding hands with another girl were circulated online.
