OnePlus offering free phones to make up for late deliveries in London

OnePlus has teamed up with Henchman delivery service for an exclusive one-day promotion in London. The promotional offer promises to deliver you either the OnePlus X or OnePlus 2 in less than 60 minutes on 21 January and if the delivery is not completed within the stipulated time then the phone will be offered free of cost.

Prospective OnePlus phone buyers have been encouraged to place their orders as soon as possible via Henchman's website as this is an invite-free offer on a first-come-first-serve basis. The offer is limited to central London as it is the only delivery area covered by Henchman.

It appears that the initial stocks at the website are already closed, while further stocks are expected to be replenished at 10am, 12pm and 2pm GMT on 21 January. The prices for the OnePlus 2 start at £289 ($410) and the OnePlus X starts at £199 ($282).

Those who ordered OnePlus X will qualify for a chance to receive a limited-edition OnePlus X instead and the OnePlus 2 buyers will get a complimentary gift bag full of accessories and goodies. OnePlus had launched a similar promotional offer in India late last year.

According to OnePlus' official press release: "Henchman is available across central London - from Hammersmith and Shepherds Bush in the west, to Shoreditch and the City in the east, and from Camden and Primrose Hill in the North to Battersea and Bermondsey in the south."
