Hundreds of the biggest names in the film industry arrived Dolby Theater at the Hollywood & Highland Center in Los Angeles, California to attend the 88th Academy Awards. Hosted by comedian Chris Rock, there was no single motion picture that stole the night − Leonardo DiCaprio finally won best actor for his role in The Revenant, which also saw director Alejandro González Iñárritu win best director for second year in a row, while biographical newsroom drama Spotlight surprised us all by taking best picture.
