Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2016, Lahore Qalandars vs Peshawar Zalmi: Where to watch live, preview, prediction and team news
Lahore Qalandars will take on Peshawar Zalmi in the fifth match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), on 6 February, Saturday at Dubai International Stadium.
Where to watch
The match will start at 3.30pm GMT. Live coverage of the game is available in the UK on Prime TV.
Overview
Lahore Qalandars had a day to forget on Friday. The team to beat, as they are billed, were rocked by a Mohammad Amir hat-trick, eventually losing by seven wickets. A lot was expected from Chris Gayle, but the big hitting West Indian failed to click, falling for four in the first over of the game. The bowling too looked listless, an area the Lahore outfit will be particularly worried about. Azhar Ali would not want to make too many changes, this being just their second game. However, if their batsmen do not perform, the Qalandars will struggle to get points on board.
Shahid Afridi would be a happy man, as despite not playing to their full potential, Peshawar Zalmi managed to beat Islamabad United by 24 runs. Tamim Iqbal, Wahab Riaz and Shaun Tait made important contributions while local boy Mohammad Asghar put in a match-winning performance with three wickets to take home the man-of-the match award. No changes are expected with the same line-up set to start.
