Overview
After losing the Test series, England will be looking to avoid another series defeat against Pakistan in the limited overs edition. They have a good chance of clinching the series or avoiding another series defeat on Tuesday (17 November).
Eoin Morgan's side suffered a six-wicket defeat in the first ODI. However, the Three Lions bounced back in the second match comfortably and a victory in the third ODI will see them take a 2-1 lead in the four-match series.
In the last match, England won the toss and Morgan decided to bat first. England went on to post 283 from their 50 overs for the loss of five wickets. Alex Hales was the star player with the bat as his century helped his side post a reasonably big total.
Pakistan faltered in their chase as they lost wickets at regular intervals and were unable to score runs at the required rate. They were finally bowled out for 188 as England sealed a 95-run victory.
