Paris attacks: A pianist plays John Lennon's 'Imagine' in front of Bataclan Concert Hall
To protest against the violence and savagery of the attacks in Paris, a man brought his own piano in front of Le Bataclan – the Parisian Concert Hall attacked by gunmen the night before – to play John Lennon's Imagine.
The unidentified man started playing the a universal peace anthem in front of journalists and passer-bys. The previous night, 13 November, the Bataclan was the scene of mass murder.
Nearly 90 people were massacred, and scores injured, in the concert hall, where Californian band the Eagles of Death Metal were performing, after Islamic State terrorists took the 1,500 crowd hostage, fired on the audience, before blowing themselves up.
At least 128 people were killed and more than 250 people injured, including 100 currently in critical condition, in attacks at six different locations in Paris on 13 November. Authorities said eight attackers were killed, including seven who blew themselves up, and they are hunting possible accomplices.
