Paris Saint-Germain seek out Manchester United targets Kevin de Bruyne and Paul Pogba
Paris Saint-Germain have made contact with Paul Pogba and Kevin de Bruyne, both who remain linked with moves to Manchester United.
De Bruyne, 23, has enjoyed a phenomenal season for Wolfsburg where he has established himself as one of the Bundesliga's outstanding talents. The rise of the former Chelsea starlet inevitably saw him linked with a return to the Premier League after his agent Patrick de Koster confirmed Louis van Gaal's side were monitoring the Belgium international in January.
While De Koster recently denied any talks with Bayern Munich over the future of his client, PSG would appear to have made the first move, eliciting a positive response from the midfielder's agent.
"We had a meeting, we talked about Kevin," De Koster told French television station TF1. "They have the lustre, they have the possibilities. They are a club with ambitions and have directors who are healthy in terms of their man-management. So, they are certainly a club that is among those that Kevin would like.
"Now, I am speaking about [Edinson] Cavani, [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic. If those people there get the passes Kevin can play, that can certainly add something in an attacking sense. It can add something big."
Juventus midfielder Pogba meanwhile remains linked with a move away from the Bianconeri, with clubs prepared to pay up to €80m (£57m, $87m) for the Frenchman's services, according Juventus CEO Beppe Marotta.
Pogba left United in rather acrimonious circumstances in 2012 but the midfielder's agent Mino Raiola has indicated his client holds no grudge with the club.
But given the PSG's wealth and Pogba's Parisian roots, the Ligue 1 champions are widely considered the favourites to land the powerful midfielder when he does decide to cut ties with Juventus.
And PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi has already sounded out the ex-Manchester United midfielder having met him earlier this year. He told Le Parisien: "I met him, he is a great talent; he is French and is also a Parisian. However, all the big clubs want him."
With Juventus expecting offers north of €80m for Pogba, De Bruyne's agent De Koster believes his client now has market value of €60m (£43m, $66m).
