Paula Patton shares nipple-baring Instagram photo as ex Robin Thicke announces new baby

Robin Thicke is expecting a baby with girlfriend April Love Geary but the singer's ex-wife, Paula Patton, does not appear to be too phased. As the pregnancy was announced on 18 August, the Mission: Impossible actress chose not to address the news on social media, instead sharing a racy photo on Instagram which partially exposes her nipples.

Alongside a photo of the baby scan, Geary, 22, revealed she is expecting her first child with the Blurred Lines singer via Instagram. Coincidentally, the tot is set to arrive on what would have been the 71st birthday of Thicke's late father, Alan Thicke, who died in December 2016. Geary told her followers: "Robin and I are very excited to share with you all that we're having a baby! The due date is March 1st, Alan's birthday!"

Shortly after, Geary shared another photo of herself wearing a bikini and sitting cross-legged while cradling her stomach, with the caption: "Happy in Hawaii with my lil peanut." Thicke, 40, is yet to address the news publicly.

Two hours after Geary's announcement, Thicke's ex-wife Patton, 41, posted a throwback photo of herself taken from an "amazing photoshoot" for a magazine.

The actress is seen standing on a ladder wearing a long beige coat with a printed skirt and a see-through bodysuit which partially puts her nipples on show. The image was celebrated by Patton's fans including one who commented: "Such a beautiful woman.. Then and now! Class... Not always naked showing your a*s!"

Patton and Thicke had dated for 21 years and were married for almost nine when they separated in 2014 with their divorce finalised the following year. The former couple are already parents to their seven-year-old son, Julian Fuego, meaning Thicke's new addition will have an older brother.

Since their split, Thicke and Patton have been embroiled in a bitter custody battle over Julian, which has included a judge denying the musician custody while also handing him a restraining order. However, it is believed Thicke now has visitation rights.

The Lost Without You singer began dating Geary in May 2015 and she received the seal of approval from Thicke's father Alan before his death. Alan told E! News: "She's lovely. [He has an] album coming out and April is there and supportive... We like her a lot."

Regarding the 18-year age difference, Alan's wife Tanya said: "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree... She's a very mature young lady. A very beautiful, smart, mature young lady."
