Payday 2 Crimewave Edition for PS4 and Xbox One to include almost all DLC

Payday 2: Crimewave Edition – the updated PS4 and Xbox One version of Overkill's bank-robbing shooter – will include nearly all the original PC version's DLC at no extra cost.

Announced with a new trailer below, Overkill and 505 Games revealed that the Armoured Transport, Big Bank Heist, Clover (the first playable female character), Gage Assault pack and much more would be included.

Pre-ordering the game will also get you the HardTime lootbag digital content, which includes console-specific masks, extra cash, red dot sights for guns and other additional masks. A 25% discount on pre-orders is also currently active for a limited time.

Both new-gen versions of the game will run at 1080p resolution with an "improved" frame rate. The game's original release on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 sold over 9 million units.

Speaking to Eurogamer, Overkill's Almir Listo said the studio were targeting 60 frames per second but were still testing and couldn't say for sure.

Payday 2 is a first person shooter focused on planning and pulling off intricate heists around Washington DC. Players will rob banks, traffic drugs and rig an election, earning money as they go and playing co-operatively with up to three other players online.

Payday 2: Crimewave Edition will be released in June.
