Peaches Geldof Death: Katie Hopkins' Refusal to Sympathise Sparks Twitter Outrage
Katie Hopkins is not sympathising with Peaches Geldof's tragic death after it was revealed that she died from heroin overdose.
Hopkins sparked a social media outrage among those mourning for her after she blasted her drug habit on Twitter.
The former Apprentice contestant posted two tweets regarding the verdict and then retweeted a number of rather 'hateful' reactions to her posts, reported Huffington Post.
"Peaches' fatal syringe was in a box by the bed - along with some sweets. She was taking care of her baby son after all," she sarcastically tweeted.
Shortly after, she put herself in Peaches' shoes and asked her followers whether they would sympathise, if she had taken an overdose while looking after her baby.
"Let's turn the tables. It was me that took an overdose whilst caring for my 11 month old. Would I be a fallen angel too?" she wrote.
Mourners were quick to slam her and a few of them replied to her callous tweets.

After Peaches' death in April, Katie wrote about the former model in her newspaper column.
She said: "Peaches and I met once, on a TV sofa in central London. We were strangers and remained adversaries."
"Peaches didn't want a tweet from me. She didn't welcome it in life. She certainly didn't need it in death."
Hopkins and Peaches share a very ugly history. They went head-to-head on This Morning Sofa debating the topic of attachment parenting.
