Peru: Mass Wedding for 92 Couples [PHOTOS]

Everyone remembers their wedding day, but the occasion will surely be more memorable than most for 92 couples who tied the knot in a mass wedding ceremony in the Peruvian capital of Lima.

The brides and grooms, who ranged in age from 18 to 74, were married by the city's mayor, Susana Villaran.

Mass ceremonies have become increasingly popular in Peru, not least because they are cheaper than individual proceedings.

The couples all exchanged rings and took their vows at precisely the same time.

"This is part of the city's celebration of the end of the year," said official Eva Revoredo, who assisted with the ceremony.
