Kick-off is at 12:30am BST (on Friday). Live coverage of the match will be available on Premier Sports.

Overview

Peru come into this fixture after suffering a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Brazil in their first fixture of the tournament. They took a lead from Christian Cueva's goal in the third minute, which was cancelled two minutes later by Neymar.

The game was heading into a draw, until a brilliant pass from Barcelona star to Douglas Costa in stoppage time that saw the latter smash the ball past the Peru keeper and into the net. The late goal saw Ricardo Gareca's side suffer a defeat.

Meanwhile, Venezuela enter this fixture after sealing a narrow 1-0 victory over Colombia. Zenit Saint Petersburg Jose Salomon Rondon's goal was the difference between the two sides as Noel Sanvicente's men seal three points.

On Wednesday, Brazil lost to Colombia 1-0 in their second match of the Copa America. The two teams share same points and same goal difference, but Brazil's better goal scoring record has seen them sit second on the table, while Colombia are third.

Venezuela are on top of the table and a victory on Thursday will seal them secure a place in the quarter finals of the tournament. At the same time, it could end Peru's chances of progressing to the next round of this edition of Copa America.
