Peterborough murder: Body found in suitcase named as Lithuanian Ramute Butkiene
A woman whose torso was discovered in a suitcase has been named as Ramute Butkiene.
The 42-year-old Lithuanian's body was found without a head, arms or legs at a property in Mayor's Walk, Peterborough, in early June, after tenants complained of a "nasty smell".
Vitautas Jokubauskas has been charged with her murder and remains in custody at Thorpe Wood Police Station.
Cambridgeshire Police said searches are continuing today as other body parts have been found in Peterborough.
A police spokesman said: "The murder is being treated as an isolated incident and a dedicated team has been set up to investigate."
