Covert Affairs Star Piper Perabo Engaged to Director Stephen Kay
Covert Affairs star Piper Perabo is engaged to director-producer Stephen Kay.
According to People, the 36-year-old actress and Kay, who is the director of the hit USA Network series, are reportedly "very happy".
Perabo, who plays CIA agent Annie Walker on the show, was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Drama at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards for the role.
The 36-year-old actress did not react to her engagement news but responded to a tweet posted by co-star Hill Harper.
"Doing Calder fast driving shots with master director Stephen Kay! cc @PiperPerabo @CovertAffairs @Jaguar" Harper tweeted, with a picture of him with Kay.
Perabo was noticed in the 2000 film Coyote Ugly for playing the role of aspiring songwriter Violet Sanford. She was also noted for her roles in the movies Cheaper by the Dozen and The Prestige. Meanwhile, Kay, who started his career as an actor, has appeared frequently on the show General Hospital. He has also directed series including Friday Night Lights and Sons of Anarchy as well as movie, Boogeyman.
Kay was previously linked to Desperate Housewives star Teri Hatcher.
Homeland Star Zuleikha Robinson Joins Covert Affairs
English actress/singer Zuleikha Robinson will be seen as Bianca, an attorney and a powerful player in Washington DC's political system on the show.
"I've been lucky to play a lot of badasses," she said of the casting, adding, "And now I can add 'badass-Covert Affairs lawyer' to the list."
Covert Affairs is set to return for the final episodes of season four on 17 October.
