Pirates of the Caribbean 5 Spoilers: No Monsters in the Johnny Depp Starrer Movie says Producer
The time has come for some serious Pirates of the Caribbean movie without the ugly looking demonic monsters sailing in the sea.
While speaking with entertainment website the Collider, producer Jerry Bruckheimer said the upcoming pirates franchise will be a straight pirate movie without any Kraken creature.
To the question, "will there be any demonic monsters in Pirates 5?" Bruckheimer answered:
"No, no. I think we're back to more of a straight pirates movie this time."
When asked about the possibility of featuring monster-like creatures in the upcoming movie, he simply said "Not in the script I read recently."
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, won millions of hearts with Johnny Depp's flawless performance as captain Jack Sparrow.
But later, the movie went off track by featuring a slew of mythical sea monsters to grab major box office collections.
While many fans loved the progress of the fantasy adventure franchise, some argued that both Depp and the movies were losing their thrill and sheen with each sequel.
Walt Disney's latest pirate sequel is slated for a 2016 premiere and is titled Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.
The movie will be directed by Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandburg. Rønning earned accolades for his Norwegian sea expedition movie Kon-Tiki.
Depp and Geoffrey Rush will reprise their roles as Captain Jack Sparrow and Barbossa respectively.
