Police arrest alleged stalker at Kendall Jenner's West Hollywood home
The 25-year-old accused has a prior arrest warrant against his name.
Kendall Jenner faced a terrifying ordeal on Sunday (14 August) when she returned to her West Hollywood home in the evening. The model called the police after she entered her driveway and spotted an alleged stalker at her home where she moved in two months back.
According to TMZ, security officials said that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star arrived at her home and saw a man in her driveway just outside the gate. He followed her, so Kendall called 911 and stayed in her car until police showed up at her property.
The 20-year-old teen star came face-to-face with the 25-year-old man – who has a prior arrest warrant against his name – who trespassed into her property at around 9.45pm local time, E! News reported. The man has been arrested and his bail has been set at $180,000 (£139,362).
Kendall is not the first member of the Kardashian clan who had to deal with such an encounter. In 2015, a fan had reportedly walked into Kris Jenner's home when the family was busy with Christmas decorations.
A male carrying a backpack was escorted from her home by security of the community. The man had reportedly claimed he had a meeting scheduled with Kris.
"It was really scary," a family member had told E! News at the time of the incident. Taking action against her security, Kris had fired her entire staff. "Kris Jenner did fire her security guards in the wake of the lapse that occurred. She's currently looking for a new team but is now using security that Kanye uses," a source was quoted as saying.
"Turns out that Saint [West] and Kim [Kardashian] were in the house during the incident and everyone at the house was really upset that security didn't do their job properly," the source said.
