Police hunt woman caught on camera throwing dog in the street by its front legs
Police in Fairfield, California are searching for a woman caught on camera throwing a dog in the street by its front legs. The woman has been identified as Brandi Chin, and the footage was shot by her neighbour.
During the video Chin is seen dragging the dog before throwing him into the driveway. It reportedly happened during an argument with Chin's ex-boyfriend. Others are then seen running to the scene of the argument before a man walks off carrying the dog.
Animal services told CBS San Francisco that they don't think this is the first instance of Chin abusing an animal: "She was recently seen walking down the business district in Fairfield and she apparently had the dog by the tail and she was swinging it around," said Michael Ramirez of Solano County Animal Service.
The video, posted on 19 December, has since gone viral, with over 350,000 views. Police think Chin is somewhere in the Vallejo area.
