Pop power couple Beyonce and Jay Z release 'Die For You' clip to celebrate 9th wedding anniversary
The singer debuts video to 'Die For You', a song released two years ago.
In effortless Queen B style, Beyoncé celebrated her ninth wedding anniversary to rapper husband Jay Z in sweet, intimate and yet overtly public fashion on Tuesday (4 April) — using her song Die For You to soundtrack a commemorative Instagram video.
The pop power couple also celebrated their expanding family in the video, including shots of Beyonce pregnant with the couple's unborn twins.
The video, released on Instagram and Tidal, is to the song Die For You, which she released two years ago to the day for the couple's seventh anniversary.
Two Instagram pictures were posted alongside the video. One showed the couple's matching ring finger tattoos overlayed with the words "I don't need air in my lungs if I can't sing your song", while another featured a sandy silhouette of the couple holding hands, with the words "I don't really need these fingers if I don't get to touch your spine" displayed over the top.
The newly released video to Die For You features a collection of what looks to mostly be home video of the couple's relationship.
This includes clips of the two spending time together, of Beyoncé's first pregnancy and the birth of Blue Ivy.
Now five, the precocious Blue Ivy seems excited about her two forthcoming siblings with a picture released a few days ago showing her hugging her mother's baby bump.
The unified outlook strikes a sharp contrast to numerous reports of a supposed strained relationship between the couple, underlined by lyrics in Beyonce's critically-acclaimed 2016 album, Lemonade
The impending childbirth has forced Beyonce to withdraw from the Coachella music festival in Nevada.
Lady Gaga has since agreed to step in and replace the former Destiny's child star as headliner this April.
