Overview
All eyes will be on Cristiano Ronaldo as the two teams from Group F battle it out for top honours. Neither setup have too many marquee players to fall back on and Portugal will be banking on the recently crowned Champions League winner Ronaldo to bail them out against Iceland, who are more than capable of pulling off an upset.
The Real Madrid star scored twice in their 7-0 win over Estonia in a pre-tournament friendly and the Portuguese man will be looking to extend his dominance for his national side. The game will mark his 127th for his country, equalling Luis Figo's record of appearances for his nation.
Meanwhile, this is the first time that Iceland are competing in a major tournament and are serious underdogs coming into the fixture. Coach Lars Lagerback has his work cut out for him but will be hoping for the likes of Gylfi Sigurdsson, who plays for Premier League side Swansea, to step up to the plate.
