Milan Fashion Week: Prada Unveils Autumn/Winter Collection [SLIDESHOW]
Miuccia Prada, head designer of the luxury label, Prada SpA did not disappoint fashion connoisseurs once again at the 2012 Milan Fashion Week with her impeccable elegant and glamorous Autumn/Winter collection.
A trendsetter in all aspects, the designer presented the Womenswear collection with focus mainly on structured tailoring along with geometric and mosaic prints.
The collection presented at the second day of the fashion week included elegant combinations of basic creations like cropped pants under long skirts, sleeveless vest or empire-waisted long coat with oversized beads ringed pant hemlines.
Although mosaic prints were of particular attraction at the show, several other designs in vibrant hues including violets and orange offered a different look.
Models were mainly seen in dark kohl eyes along with two-toned hair properly accessorized with applique design bags and stilettos.
The Daily Mail reported that the Prada show is usually famous for launching the careers of unknown models, but this season, thanks to a new casting director, was different, and the line-up included Lindsey Wixson, Natasha Poly and Anne Vyalitsyna, the girlfriend of Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine.
The collection also included long printed coats with belted jeweled buckle and pant suits paired with complimentary prints like purple and red hexagon vest over brown and black diamond pants.
