Kate Middleton: Top 5 Topshop Items to Kit out Duchess in Maternity Wear

She recently wore a stylish MaxMara wrap dress for her growing baby bump but it looks like Kate Middleton is turning to the high street for the rest of her maternity wardrobe.

The Duchess of Cambridge, expecting her first child with husband Prince William in July, was spotted shopping in the maternity department of Topshop during a recent trip to London.

"Just an average day, Kate Middleton smiled at me! :) oh best bit... This was in Topshop! Truly Beautiful :) (sic)" a fellow shopper tweeted after noticing her.

The 31-year-old royal's visit followed Topshop owner Phillip Green's recent praise for her sense of style.

"She's done a fabulous job for England, for UK fashion," he told E! News.

"She's leading what she does. She carries herself very well, it can't be an easy position but she handles herself very well."

Middleton has also been seen in another high street favourite, Gap, reportedly on the hunt for some trendy maternity jeans.
