Latest: Everton 2-1 Southampton
Latest: Newcastle United 0-1 Arsenal
16:00: Chelsea v Liverpool
16:00: Tottenham Hotspur v Stoke City
15:15: Luke Shaw blasts over at Goodison Park as Southampton continue to go in search of an equaliser. Fancy that quick-fire Everton second has knocked the stuffing out of the visitors.
15:12: Newcastle have barely threatened since Arsenal took the lead but they were unfortunate not to be level. Szczesny strikes a back pass straight at Loic Remy but the pass rebounds wide of the Arsenal goal. A let off.
15:07: No sooner are Southampton level, Everton re-take the lead. Pienaar feeds Barkley who plays in Romelu Lukaku who ends his goal drought with a curled effort into the back of the net. Excellent goal all-round.
Goal: Everton 2-1 Southampton (Romelu Lukaku)
15:04: An equaliser for Southampton and a thorougherly deserved one too. Gaston Ramirez picks the ball up 30 yards from goal and unleashes a thumping shot which flies past Robles.
Goal: Everton 1-1 Southampton (Gaston Ramirez)
15:02: Somehow Arsenal aren't two up. Wilshere slips Walcott through, who toe-poked effort is saved by Krul, before his cushioned volley of a follow-up is headed off the line by Debuchy. Giroud then can't direct the rebound on target and Newcastle survive.
14:58: Southampton continue to press for an equaliser and they come close once again. The ball falls to Jay Rodriguez whose shots is deflected agonisingly wide.
14:56: Another Tiote foul goes unpunished by referee Lee Probert but Arsenal exact their own revenge with the opening goal. Theo Walcott's free-kick is a peach and Giroud, who escaped the attention of Mike Williamson, flicks a header beyond Tim Krul.
Goal: Newcastle United 0-1 Arsenal (Olivier Giroud)
14:52: Change for Newcastle and an attacking one at that, with Hatem ben Arfa coming on for Yoan Gouffran. Over an hour played and neither side are any closer to finding a winner.
14:46: Everton should have two up. Bryan Oviedo gets to the byline and crosses low but Ross Barkley can only side-foot wide from eight yards out. A golden opportunity for the England protege.
14:42: Without Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil Arsenal are lacking real thrust from midfield and Newcastle are not only contending with them well, but in attack they look more threatening also. A nicely disguised cross from Anita causes mass confusion in the Arsenal area, and Gouffran is unfortunate not to score after Szczesny collides with Sagna.
14:36: About two minutes behind, the second period has begun at Goodison too.
14:34: Second half underway at St James' Park.
14:25: So despite only one goal coming in the first half in our two early afternoon kick-offs, there has been plenty of drama. At Goodison, Seamus Coleman's stunner seperates the two sides, but the half ended with a comfrontation between Sylvain Distin and Adam Lallana. Referee Mark Clattenburg played the role as peace maker.
Half time: Newcastle United 0-0 Arsenal
Half time: Everton 1-0 Southampton
14:20: Wojciech Szczesny makes a brilliant save to keep Arsenal level. Yohan Cabaye shoots goalwards in the area and when the ball comes back Sissoko blasts one towards the top corner and the Pole make a superb stop to turn it over. From the resulting corner, Debuchy hits the bar with a flighted header.
14:15: Southampton should really be level at Goodison. Adam Lallana flicks the ball over the Everton back four and left footed, drags his effort wide of goal. Good chance for the visitors who have enjoyed some good moments of an entertaining first half.
14:10: Long break at St James' as Olivier Giroud recieves treatment after going over on his ankle following a foul on Tiote. The Frenchman is now the pantomime villian among the home fans but will crucially stay on for the Gunners, whose stortage of strikes is of course well reported.
14:02: First meaningful efforts on target at St James' Park and they come from the visitors. First Tomas Rosicky shifts the ball onto his left foot and drives straight at Tim Kruel. Later, Santi Cazorla opens his body and curls towards the far post but again Krul makes an easy save.
13:55: Meanwhile, in the first quarter at St James' Park Arsenal are very much the dominant force from an attacking point of view, without making Tim Krul work much in the Newcastle goal. Mathieu Debuchy the main attacking threat for the hosts it must be said.
13:53: So we have our first goal of the day and it comes from full-back Seamus Coleman as Everton hit the front against Southampton. Second goal in three games for thr Irishman.
Goal: Everton 1-0 Southampton (Seamus Coleman)
13:30: A host of technical problems have delayed the start of our live text this afternoon but we're up and running in time for the first two kick-offs on this Sunday afternoon. We start at St James' Park where Newcastle host Arsenal, and at Goodison Park where Everton face Southampton. Kick-offs on the way.
