Pretty Little Liars season 7 episode 3: Creepy doll and romance teased by show creator Marlene King
The liars will commit their biggest mistake in episode 3.
Marlene King has promised twists and revelations in almost every episode of Pretty Little Liars season 7 and she surely is keeping it. While the first two episodes revealed a great deal about Mary Drake's backstory and Hanna's escape from Uber A's dungeon, the show creator teases that the upcoming episodes will bring more shocking moments as well as romance.
While answering fan questions, King took to her Twitter account to reveal what to expect next in the series. "The show will be uber romantic, dramatic, SEXY and FUN!" she posted on her Twitter account.
It appears the new A is also obsessed with dolls as King tweeted a picture of a doll and hinted that it will play a major role in the upcoming finale. "It's not a finale without a creepy doll. #710 kills it. Literally," she captioned the picture.
Season 6 revealed Charlotte as A, the tormentor of the liars Aria, Hanna, Spencer and Emily and she also used the dollhouse to kidnap and torture the girls. But in season 7, the girls are free and it is Ali who is struggling to get out of the psychiatric hospital where she remains trapped by Dr Elliot Rollins and her aunt Mary Drake.
Episode 3 is titled The Talented Mr Rollins but the instalment is not about Elliot's smartness. Indeed, the girls will realise that their friend is in a terrible trap and will try to set her free. The synopsis of the episode hints at a major mistake by Aria, Spencer and Emily that will set the stage for the rest of the season. Previously, show producer Charlie Craig weighed in on Hanna's fate as she remains missing from the grave digging scene that was shown in the premiere episode.
PLL season 7 episode 3 will air on Tuesday 5 July on Freeform.
