Pretty Little Liars season 7: Shay Mitchell and Sasha Pieterse tease budding romance between Emily and Alison

The premiere of Pretty Little Liars season 7 is still a few months away but that has not stopped the crew of the Freeform thriller from talking about what will happen in the series. Showcreator Marlene King has been treating fans with some titbits about what lies ahead on social media.

But now it seems like Shay Mitchell and Sasha Pieterse may have spelled out a massive spoiler about Emily and Alison DiLaurenti's future. The duo posted an image on their Instagram account and teased Emison romance in PLL season 7. "Wait on it... #Emison", Mitchell captioned the picture hinting at some serious romance between the two.

Let's not forget that by the end of season 6, Emily and Ali got close emotionally while struggling to find Charlotte's killer. Unaware of Elliott Rollins' plot along with Jessica DiLaurenti's evil twin Mary Drake, she admitted herself at the Welby State Psychiatric Hospital with Emily's help.

The romance between the two high school students has always been a matter of discussion as they were not only attracted to each other, but shared some passionate kisses in the last few seasons. It will be interesting to see how they move on after all the Mary Drake incident.

The premiere of season 7 will probably reveal more about Emily's efforts to get Ali out of the institution. However, the latter is the only person liars Aria, Spencer and Emily are concerned about. They will need trace Hanna, who was kidnapped by the Uber A in the season 6 finale.

At present, King, who is filming the teaser of the upcoming season, shared a picture of the liars wearing black dresses.

Pretty little Liars season 7 episode one and two are titled Tick–Tock; and Bitches and Bedlam respectively. The show will return on Freeform on 21 June this year.
