Prince William and Kate Middleton ready to send Prince George and Princess Charlotte off to school next week
Four-year-old Princess Charlotte, on her first day of school, will be accompanied by Prince William, Kate Middleton and her elder brother Prince George.
Princess Charlotte will be heading to school on Thursday. On her first day of school, she will be accompanied by her parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton and her older brother, Prince George. This was confirmed by Kensington Palace.
The four-year-old will also go to St Thomas's Battersea in London. Princess Charlotte is all set to start school at her brother's school from Thursday, September 5, Hello reports.
Kate Middleton, who missed out on accompanying Prince George on his first day of school, will this time be around to drop off her daughter. George is also starting Year 2 at the school. Prince William, who is a hands-on father, will also accompany his wife and children.
The Prince's little sister will start her first term in Reception at Thomas's Battersea. Royal fans can expect the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge do a photocall for Charlotte at the school before she goes to her class. The little royal had been attending Willcocks Nursery in Kensington since January 2018.
Kate, 37, missed George's first day of school in 2017, as she was pregnant with Prince Louis at that time. She suffered from acute morning sickness and was forced to miss the opportunity of dropping off her first-born to school.
Thomas's Battersea is for both boys and girls aged between four and 13. The first day at school can become a little overwhelming for Charlotte ,as she will meet a new teacher and settle in with new children in a new classroom. Charlotte will learn Computing, French, Art, Music, Drama and Ballet in her Reception year. She and her new classmates will get to scribble, write random letters, and even draw as part of the handwriting class.
The Reception year at school teaches children to make their own choices, be creative, solve problems and persevere, all through play. They are also taught to make good relationships, be safe, secure and happy.
In an earlier statement, the school said that they were delighted to welcome William and Kate's daughter, Charlotte, to their school.
