Transfer Window Club-by-Club Guide: the Winners and Losers - Part 2
Following on from the first part in our comprehensive transfer round-up, we look at the remaining ten clubs in the Premier League, which played the transfer market with varying degrees of success.
Queens Park Rangers
The massive wages thrown at Chris Samba and Loic Remy may have raised eyebrows, but the two new signings should stiffen Rangers at both ends of the pitch. Just like Mark Hughes last summer, Harry Redknapp has splurged the cash in a desperate frenzy; this time at least it appears the QPR has managed to attract some quality to Loftus Road. And he's managed to shift a boatload of under-performing wage-drainers out as well.

Reading
Nothing much to report here, although the signing of Fulham's Stephen Kelly could reinforce a defence that has shipped bucketloads of goals since August. Former Everton trainee Hope Akpan gets another shot at the big time, having signed from Crawley Town, and will hope to become another of Brian McDermott's surprise packages.
Grade: B
Ins
Daniel Carrico - Sporting Lisbon - around £600,000
Stephen Kelly - Fulham - undisclosed fee
Hope Akpan - Crawley Town - undisclosed fee
Nick Blackman - Sheffield United - undisclosed fee
Outs
Dominic Samuel - Colchester United - loan
Gozie Ugwu - Plymouth - loan
Jordan Obita - Oldham Athletic - loan
Southampton
Owner Nicola Cortese's decision to sack manager Nigel Adkins may have attracted scorn, but no one could accuse the Southampton sugar daddy of lacking ambition. The Saints failed to get Brazilian schemer Philippe Coutinho, even though he played under new manager Mauricio Pochettino at Espanol, but the signing of Norwegian defender Vegard Forren, who was tracked by Manchester United, could prove one of the shrewdest of the transfer window.
Grade: B+
Ins
Vegard Forren - Molde - undisclosed fee
Outs
Sam Hoskins - Stevenage - loan
Ryan Dickson - Bradford City - loan
Dan Seaborne - Bournemouth - loan
Jonathan Forte - Sheffield United - loan
Ben Reeves - Southend United - loan
Lee Barnard has joined Oldham on loan
Steve De Ridder - Bolton Wanderers - loan
Stoke City
Tony Pulis rarely seems to have a bad transfer window, and the wily old fox has been as effective as ever over the past month. He managed to entice Jack Butland, even though the young England keeper was wanted by Chelsea, and broker a transatlantic deal for Brek Shea, a young American winger with a burgeoning reputation. More good times lie ahead at the Potteries.
Grade: A-
Ins
Jack Butland- Birmingham City - £3.5m
Brek Shea - FC Dallas - £2.5m

Maurice Edu - Bursaspor - loan

Sunderland
£5m for Danny Graham? Seems a bit steep, given he couldn't secure a regular place in the Swansea team, and his career record of less than a goal every three games is far from convincing. Elsewhere, nothing much to report. A rather deflating transfer window on Wearside, one images.
Grade: C
Ins
Alfred N'Diaye - Bursaspor - £3m
Abdou Kader Mangane - Al Hilal - loan
Danny Graham - Swansea City - £5m
Outs
David Meyler - Hull City - undisclosed fee

Frazier Campbell - Cardiff City - around £650,000
Jonny Maddison- Crawley Town - loan
Ji Dong-won - Augsburg - loan

Swansea City
After the Swans' spectacularly successful exploits in the summer, they didn't really need to strengthen much in January - Michael Laudrup's boys sit merrily in eighth place and relegation seems a near-impossibility. Laudrup did return to his old La Liga hunting ground to sign Roland Lamah, a Belgian winger capable of playing on either flank. Pretty much every Belgian import seems to become an instant superstar these days, so fans in South Wales will be hopeful.
Grade: B
Ins
Roland Lamah - Osasuna - loan
Outs
Jamie Proctor - Crawley Town - undisclosed fee
Leroy Lita- Sheffield Wednesday - loan
Ashley Richards - Crystal Palace - loan
Danny Graham - Sunderland - £5m
Tottenham Hotspur
After a false start at Chelsea, Andre Villas-Boas is starting to show his managerial skills, and the immaculately coiffed Portuguese will be delighted with his January work. The signing of Lewis Holtby, brought forward from the summer to alleviate a midfield injury crisis, looks like a masterstroke; the acquisition of Zeki Fryers has raised the ire of his old boss Sir Alex Ferguson, so he must be a pretty useful player too.
Grade: A
Ins
Lewis Holtby - Schalke - £1.5m
Zeki Fryers - Standard Liege - £3m

Souleymane Coulibaly - Grosseto - loan
Carlo Cudicini - Los Angeles Galaxy - free

Heurelho Gomes - Hoffenheim - loan
Alex Pritchard - Peterborough United - loan
Simon Dawkins - Aston Villa - loan
Andros Townsend - QPR - loan
West Bromwich Albion
With West Brom flying high in the Premier League, manager Steve Clarke decided against augmenting his squad in the winter window. Having struck gold with Ben Foster and Romelu Lukaku during the summer, there was no need for Albion's austere Scottish gaffer to dip into his pocket again.

Getting Joe Cole back was a huge coup for Upton Park fans, and the one-time wonderkid has already shown he can still cut it on his return to the ground where he made his name. Meanwhile Emanuel Pogatetz will bring even more aggression to a squad already boasting gnarled warriors such as Kevin Nolan, James Collins and Mark Noble. Some typically shrewd shopping from Sam Allardyce.

Not too much to report, apart from the loan signing of Angelo Henriquez, a young striker who was signed by Manchester United in the summer after earning rave reviews in his home country, Chile. The service provided by a coterie of creative midfielders could bring him plenty of goals at the DW Stadium.
Ins
Angelo Henriquez - Manchester United - loan
Roger Espinoza - Sporting Kansas City - free
Joel Robles - Atletico Madrid - loan
Paul Scharner - Hamburg - loan
Outs
Rob Kiernan - Brentford - loan
