Spanish royal attended the event without her husband, King Felipe VI.
She has always been famed for her slender and slight physique, and Queen Letizia of Spain drew particular attention to her lean arms as she attended an awards ceremony in Madrid today (30 September).
The 44-year-old monarch attended the Accion Magistral Awards in the Spanish capital, engaging in a solo public appearance without her husband of 12 years, King Felipe VI.
The mother-of-two took graced the stage with a gleaming smile to hand out the accolades at the event, looking timelessly elegant in a longline black and white sleeveless top which featured a sparse check print – drawing the eye to her muscular and toned arms.
She kept her style choice safe by pairing the statement top with plain black trousers and stilettos, and inserted a touch of colour in the look with a purple leather clutch bag.
The awards acknowledged teachers and the amount of effort they put into their daily jobs – nodding to individuals who offer children more enriched educational experiences. The main winner was rewarded with several thousand euros for their dedication and a trophy presented to them by the Queen herself.
The winning teacher and runners-up were joined on stage by their students as well as the Spanish ruler, and the Queen appeared to enjoy the upbeat event.
Earlier this week (28 September), Letizia received the Rio 2016 medallists at her home El Pardo Palace in Madrid, alongside husband King Felipe. For the occasion, the monarch opted for a chic long-sleeved white dress by her go-to Spanish designer, Felipe Varela, which highlighted her slim figure.
The custom-made piece was adorned with a subtle floral embellished neckline and cinched in at the waist to ensure a flattering cut and she finished off the look with a feminine pair of open-toe satin nude heels while she wore her brunette locks in her trademark sleek, straight style.
