Radio DJ Neil Fox arrested again over sexual assault allegation from 1990s

Radio DJ and TV personality Neil "Dr" Fox has been arrested over a sexual offence allegation against a woman in the early 1990s.

He was arrested after handing himself in at a London police station on 13 March and now has been bailed. It is the third time Fox has been arrested over sexual assault offence claims.

The veteran DJ was held in September 2014 on suspicion of assaulting two women, soon after he finished presenting his breakfast show on 105.4 Magic FM where he has worked since 2005.

He was also arrested in December 2014 for three further alleged sexual assaults, two of which are said to have happened in the 1990s and the other in 2007.

His arrests are not part of Operation Yewtree, the inquiry investigating allegations of historic sexual abuse set up in the wake of the Jimmy Savile scandal.
