Nadal is one win away from making it to the last eight of the second Grand Slam event of this year. The French Open has been his forte for over a decade as he has won it on nine occasions.
In the third round, the former world number one defeated Andrey Kuznetsov in straight sets 6-1, 6-3, 6-2. He is gaining momentum as the tournament progresses as the latest win was the third consecutive straight set victory.
The Spaniard will be looking for another straight set victory on Monday as he looks to seal a berth in the quarter final of this year's Roland Garros.
Meanwhile, Sock enters this fixture after defeating Borna Coric in straight sets 6-2, 6-1, 6-4 in the third round of the Roland Garros. The 22-year-old American struggled in the first two matches, but managed to have a comfortable game against Coric. Sock will be hoping to create an upset by defeating Nadal on Monday.
