Overview
Former World Number one Rafael Nadal will look to continue his good run in the Indian Wells Masters when he takes on Germany's Alexander Zverev in the fourth round. The World Number five successfully avenged his shock Australian Open first round loss, beating fellow countryman Fernando Verdasco 6-0, 7-6 in the third round on 15 March.
It was a much needed straight sets win for Nadal, his first since the Rio de Janeiro Open in February. The 29-year-old who is a three-time winner has seen injuries affect his body, however he is still expected to progress to the quarter-finals.
One of ATP's next generation of stars, Alexander Zverev has been in fine form over the past few months. The 19-year-old beat Gilles Muller in straight sets to progress to the fourth round, his first time at the Indian Wells. The German who has been hailed as the "next big thing" in tennis has all the skills in his armoury to shock Nadal and register the biggest win of his career so far.
