Rapper Wiz Khalifa has been arrested for possession of marijuana.

The Work Hard, Play Hard star doesn't seem too upset by his predicament however, and has been tweeting about his experience from behind prison bars and even posted a "cell- fie"

According to TMZ, the 26-year-old was taken into custody on Sunday (May 25) after TSA officials allegedly found he was carrying five grams of marijuana.

He was travelling from El Paso where he was performing at the Neon Desert Music Festival, to Dallas when he was subjected to a standard check.

The rapper posted an image of cell door with the caption 'Free Trap Wiz ' which is being circulated as a hashtag onTwitter.

His fans have created the hashtag #FreeTrapWiz

Despite his current situation, the Pittsburgh rapper has promised to release his mixtape, 28 Grams, once he is released from police custody.

"I wanna drop 28 Grams but they got me locced up. Soon as I get out, the tapes comin out. F*** that," he typed.

The rapper who is married to Amber Rose was previously arrested for possession of cannabis in the middle of his Waken Ball tour in November of 2010.

The couple who have been married a year were seen last week at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada.
