Overview
Royal Challengers Bangalore come into the fixture after suffering a defeat at the hands of Sunrisers Hyderabad. David Warner's side managed 194 runs in their 20 overs and the Challengers fell 15 runs short of the target.
Chris Gayle, who was available for selection was not picked for the clash. He could make his way back into the squad and open the innings along with Virat Kohli. RCB have a very good batting division, but it is their bowling division which has been costing them matches.
Meanwhile, Kolkata Knight Riders come into this fixture after their last match against Delhi Daredevils saw them suffer a 27-run defeat. Zaheer Khan's side managed 186 runs and in reply, a poor batting display except Robin Uthappa (72) led to their defeat.
