Real Housewives of New Jersey season 7 premiere: Andy Cohen teases Teresa Giudice's emotional return
Real Housewives of New Jersey season 7 returns on 10 July (Sunday) at 8pm EST on Bravo. The premiere episode will feature the return of Teresa Giudice after serving an 11-month sentence in federal prison.
RHONJ executive producer Andy Cohen spoke to ET Online about the emotional premiere episode and revealed that Giudice's reunion with her family will be featured in episode 1. "I've seen it three or four times, and I wept every time. It's the realest, most raw moment that I've seen. When you see these four girls jump in her arms, it's like nothing that I've seen," Cohen said.
According to the producer and talk show host, season 7 will feature Giudice trying to manage her legal troubles, after being released from prison in December 2015. He said: "You do see a different Teresa, and you do see how this year away really changed her."
The upcoming season will also explore Teresa's relationship with the other housewives, including Dolores Catania, Jacqueline Laurita, Melissa Gorga, Siggy Flicker, Teresa Giudice and Kathy Wakile. Cohen teased" "It's interesting to see how the terrain lays out between her and her sister-in-law, who have never gotten along. And she and her ex-best friend of 12 years, Jaclyn, those are the two relationships to watch, and you'll be surprised by how they turn out."
The trailer released by Bravo shows that season 7 will find Teresa looking forward to her future after serving nearly a year at a Connecticut facility, as she and her daughters have to say goodbye to her husband Joe Giudice as he begins his 41-month prison sentence at FCI Fort Dix. Teresa and Joe have four daughters together: Gia, 15, Gabriella, 11, Milania, 10, and Audriana, 6.
Do not miss Teresa's homecoming, Melissa Gorga's sister-in-law reconciliation and Jacqueline Laurita's return in Real Housewives of New Jersey season 7 on Bravo.
