Gary Neville's Valencia will aim to end a seven-match winless run in La Liga when they face Real Sociedad at Anoeta on 10 January.

Where to watch live

Kick-off is set for 3pm GMT. The game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports 2 HD.

Overview

Real Sociedad have gone five games without a win in all competitions and find themselves just two points above the relegation zone in 15th place. However, the Basque side have come out on top in six of their last eight league meetings with Valencia.

Eusebio Sacristan is without the injured quintet of Esteban Granero, Asier Illarramendi, Raul Navas, Imanol Agirretxe and Sergio Canales for the Anoeta clash.

Valencia are still without a league win under Gary Neville, having picked up just four points from their last six fixtures. The Mestalla outfit will hope a 4-0 win over Granada in the Copa del Rey round of 16 first leg in midweek sparks a return to winning ways in La Liga.

Defenders Shkodran Mustafi (thigh) and Jose Luis Gaya (groin) could both return from injury for the visitors.

What managers say

Eusebio Sacristan: "Valencia are a team that competes very well, they have players of a great level and are a rival to be respected. But if we show our intensity and our competitiveness and do well in front of our fans, we can achieve victory."

Gary Neville: "We've gone three games without injuries and that is fundamental to us. Talking about other players is disrespectful to the players already in the squad. In the second half [against Granada] we moved the ball well and I'm sure we dominated possession."
