Republic of Ireland take on Sweden in the Euro 2016 Group E clash at Stade de France, Saint-Denis on Monday (13 June).

Where to watch live

Kick-off is at 5pm BST. BBC One and BBC One HD will provide live coverage of the game in the United Kingdom.

Overview

Republic of Ireland and Sweden will kick-star their Euro 2016 campaign when they face each other in a Group E fixture. Former Liverpool striker Robbie Keane will be one of the attackers for Ireland in the European championship.

He won the Uefa European Under-18 champion with his national side in 1998 and is now leading Ireland in Euro 2016. Keane's presence, both on and off the pitch will be vital for his national side as they look to progress further in the tournament.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will lead Sweden in what is likely to be his last European championship. Sweden are expected to be the favourites as they have never lost to Ireland in a competitive tournament, winning four of the six matches.
