Revenge cancelled after season 4? Victoria's death sparks rumours as Emily and Jack part ways
Revenge season 4 is inching closer to its finale and the apparent death of Victoria Grayson in the powerful explosion that took place at the Grayson Manor has shocked fans to the core.
The death of Madeleine Stowe's character in the ABC thriller has again sparked rumours that this is the final season of the series and the show will be cancelled after season 4.
This is how fans reacted on Twitter after they speculated that the show is getting cancelled.
Meanwhile, show producer Sunil Nayar has hinted that the final episode of the series will bring a heartbreaking, yet satisfying end to Emily and Jack's story.
"People will understand exactly where they stand in the finale," Nayar told TV Guide. "We'll really tap into what the world means now that she's Amanda Clark and that he's Jack Porter and ... it's heartbreaking in some ways and really satisfying in others."
TV Line also reported that if the show comes back for a fifth season, it will be an all new show. "Based on what I'm hearing about the finale, there would have to be a major revamp if the show returns for a fifth season. Actually, forget revamp — there'd have to be a whole new show," the report reads.
But the question whether Mama Grayson is dead or alive remains a mystery for fans who were expecting a major showdown between Emily and her nemesis in the final episode of the popular series.
In the previous episode, a masked man attacks the Grayson matriarch in a parking lot and she puts the entire blame on David Clarke's daughter.
Meanwhile, Jack Porter leaves the Hamptons forever in order to give his son a better life. He also asks Amanda to join him in his new life to which she agrees.
But as luck would have it, Amanda cannot make it, or rather; she is a suspect in the apparent murder case of Mama Grayson.
It remains to be seen how the story unfolds when Revenge season 4 returns on 26 April with episode 21 Aftermath, on ABC.
