Rihanna reacts to Chris Brown's secret baby reports; Diamond singer feels 'he will be a good father'

Reports of Chris Brown being a father of a nine-month-old baby girl has come as a surprise to his fans, especially his ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

The We Found Love singer was shocked when she reportedly heard the news that Brown allegedly has a nine-month old daughter. However, she had some warm words for her ex boyfriend.

According to a report in Hollywood Life, "Rihanna is shocked and had to read the reports four times before it finally sunk in."

"But first things first, and that's that if it's true, Chris will be a good father and take care of his little girl," a source told the website.

The Diamonds singer thinks that Brown is ready for raising a baby girl.

"That's a big responsibility and something that requires a lot of work, energy and love," the source revealed, adding, "She wishes him all the best in this new and very important chapter in his life."

"Rihanna's been through it all with Chris. This is the type of situation that some women would lose their minds over and end up doing something very foolish. She's thanking everything around her that she's not in this position, "the source said.

Previously, TMZ had reported that the baby's mother is a 31-year-old former model named Nia, who has known Chris for several years.

Sources connected to both Nia and Chris told the website "they are on very good terms, however they're not together romantically". Meanwhile, the Loyal singer is reportedly happy about being a father.
