Rihanna and Travis Scott: Rapper gets Chris Brown's blessing for dating Barbadian beauty

Travis Scott reached out to Chris Brown for his approval to date Barbadian singer/actress Rihanna. The 23-year-old rapper apparently sought the Loyal singer's blessings before getting romantically involved with the 27-year-old FourFiveSeconds hitmaker.

"Travis really digs Rihanna and believes he can have a future with her. He's had many women in his life, but none of them compare to how sexy, intelligent and loving Rihanna is," a source told Hollywood Life. "He's very aware of her emotional attachment to Chris. Travis knows Chris, and he doesn't want any issues with him due to the fact that he's getting close with RiRi. Man to man, Travis wants to talk to Chris and clear the air, as well as get Breezy's blessing. It's out of respect for Chris."

Rihanna and Scott were romantically linked after the pair were spotted getting close at a New York Fashion Week after party on 10 September in New York City. In a clip released by celebrity gossip website TMZ, the two are seen dancing together and allegedly kissing. It was previously reported that Brown, who recently admitted he is still in love with Rihanna, was upset with the dating reports.

"Travis and RiRi have talked about Chris and she told him that he's a very 'special person' in her life and that she will 'always love him.' Travis thinks that's noble of them to have that connection, and he just wants to make sure Breezy is cool with his connection to Rihanna", the source continued. "Plus, the music biz is very small. Everyone knows everyone. And Travis wants to work with Chris in the future and doesn't want his dating Rihanna to become a future problem in his career."

Meanwhile, Rihanna posed with a shirtless Scott in her new campaign for Puma. In the shot taken by Tom Munro, the We Found Love singer is seen leaning against against the You Da One singer.

Rihanna revealed that her new shoe with the brand was sold out in three hours. She wrote on Instagram: "When they told me#THECREEPER sold out in 3 hours....catch you on the 25th if you missed it!"
