Overview
Rafael Nadal progressed to the last four of the competition after defeating Joao Sousa in the previous round, 6-1, 6-0, achieving the straight set victory in 75 minutes.
The World No 1 one is pitted in the semi-final against compatriot Pablo Andujar who managed to beat another Spaniard Tommy Robredo in the quarter-finals, 6-1, 6-1 in one hour.
The winner will face the winner of the match between David Ferrer and Alexandr Dolgopolov in the final on Sunday.
